Janine Sutto Part One

Janine Sutto (1921-2017) was born in Paris and emigrated with her family to Montreal in 1930. She began her career with the Montreal Repertory Theatre and Théâtre Arcade, and went on to found L’Equipe with Pierre Dagenais. She acted frequently with Le Théâtre du Rideau Vert and Le Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, and was a prolific actor in Quebec radio, film and television.
