A few days ago I passed by a bazzar of old and used items. A metal tray and a water jar called my attention. I made up my mind and bought the two items. Despite the aluminum bath on both pieces are peeling off I decided to cover them up in leather as decorative items for my shop.
I have started with the tray, as you can see by using some scraps of leather. To attach the pieces together I have used a European/basting stitch-diamond pattern. Procedures to handsew are similar to those already taught in former videos.
In next video, I will show a way to approach the water jar in leather too.
The main purpose of this video is the motivation to do upholstery...if we do not have a sewing machine, we cand do it by hand.
