Hello friend,

good morning, afternoon or night to you. It feels good to upload and publish and get to be here. I'm a perfectionist and obviously wish that I didn't have to break the every-other daily upload, but the couples days rest was what I needed.
I realize that this vlog didn't have much context- as well as most of the December Daily videos I've been making. It's been more family-style and not as explanatory to those who weren't actually there, but it's nice in a way. The way I perceive these memories is different that the way my mom might or the way somebody who doesn't know us personally would. But the beautiful thing is that nonetheless, we can all enjoy it for what it is.
My mom found a cabin on bnb, she wanted our family to go out there for a few days. My (step)dad didn't end up coming with us, incase you were wondering. Although he's recovered from the cancer and chemo treatments, he is extremely uncomfortable moving around and especially cannot deal with long car trips. With the california fires, the air really gets to his lungs (incase you hear him coughing in the back). He had a couple days of peace and quiet while we were out skiing.
It was my sister's SECOND DAY skiing ever, and she already went on blue runs with us.. safe to say she is a natural, because she was going SO much faster than me like wth........ but hey, I didn't fall once this trip, and she did because she'd be more daring. She can't handle the powdery snow as well because it's more bumpy and takes muscle to get through.
The last night at the cabin I got a terrible fever, and got only about a few hours sleep (because I didn't have any sort of medicine that made me drowsy.) When we got home, Tyler was blowdrying the bottom of my neck because my aunt said it's helpful for colds (I'm guessing it is part of eastern medicine practice.) So he used warm wind and blew that area for 5 minutes. I'm not entirely sure if it worked, but I sure am a lot better today than yesterday. I've been healing fast compared to before. It's the 3rd day and I'm already coughing out the gross phlegm.
Right now suki is sleeping on a cushion behind my laptop and toby is rubbing his face on me. I have no idea what I should do after this, because I certainly don't want to stay home all bored but I am a little weak to go out bowling or something lol. Jason's also here until the new year, and I feel bad he's bored here alone.
Today is also supposed to be a vlogging day, so let's see how it goes.....haha..
