💌 happy birthday to my dad!! as i explained in the last weekly vlog (https://youtu.be/RKcsiTxVvBk), lilith has been in CA earlier than we let on. She snuck in late the night before his 60th, and crawled into a box per my suggestion... haha xD
the reason why we got him the air purifier is because, on top of his illnesses and allergies, my dad suffered from lung damage in his 30's when he was unknowingly exposed to toxic pollutants. although he still coughs a lot throughout the day, it's noticeably less now and we're grateful! my mom's handmade card for him reads, "MEW DID IT" because he's always joked darkly for as long as I've known him, that he wouldn't live until the age of 60. He is officially the first male in his family to have turned 60 years old :D
oh yes and luke rides a motorcycle, which is how we were able to travel to a hiking summit early morning... the views would've been SOO much better if I didn't sleep past, I'm sad... also if you're confused, I am not sleeping in my bedroom right now, but instead grandma's room. she has 2 twin beds, so lilith and I are sharing that room for the length of her stay here. We are the only 2 people that don't snore up a storm, so it makes sense for mom and grandma to enjoy the comfort of their own room lol..
when I mentioned "textiles" slamming me for my wrinkled mask, it was a joke at the IMPORTANCE of ironing all of our fabrics.. unless all you want to hear during crit is how disgusted they are at the creases and unable to even look at your print.
