OUR GETAWAY // Yosemite · A Moving Album

At the end of my short visit home, I got to go to Yosemite with my mom and sister. It was a refreshing mini getaway from the our usual (very stressful) routine life back home. It was nice to be in nature and away from all the burdens and responsibilities, even for the short while. I’ve grown to love nature, mostly because it’s the only place I really feel comfortable inside my mind nowadays. Nevertheless, Yosemite was BEAUTIFUL, it was my first time there, and I intend to return.
We got a B&B about 35 minutes drive from the actual Yosemite Valley and all their destinations. It’s definitely a bit of a drive back and forth in the mornings, but it was really worth it for us. Aside from the trails and scenery, being able to relax in a home-like space was super fun and time well spent. If you plan to visit, the more convenient thing to do is to stay at the Yosemite camps or their hotel. But if you are looking for more of a homey, comfortable experience, definitely try out Airbnb! I didn’t consider this a vlog because there isn’t much talking, but really it’s more of a hybrid of a vlog plus the “moving album” types series that I have done a few times in the past.
