THE LONGEST DAY ⁄⁄ CatCreature

hello :'-)

i can't express enough how grateful for the beauty of nature and the kindness of people. as i revisit the footage i took on this Scotland trip, i am so lucky to have crossed paths with each and every person i have met. a part of me secretly hopes that i can see them again one day.

our world is so big, and every day i am reminded how insignificant and small i am in it. yet, i am capable of making meaningful connections, seeing all that fills the big wide world around me...& choosing to make the most out of it.
Every once in a while i feel a little blue when i get overwhelmed with complications of life..the walls cave in, my mind fills with fears for the future, uncertainties of everyday, & things i need to do but haven't gotten done- things that build up all together to tell me that im not doing good enough.

and this is not a strange feeling, it is actually a very familiar one. i have known it all too much growing up, and i wish that it isn't one you feel. but i know, unfortunately, that each of us have our own set of challenges.. but we are by our sides through them.

it might have taken loads of time, & a lot of growth, but i am someone who can now recognize these feelings, and confront them. the point is not to avoid feeling blue, or stressed at all costs. it is not a bad life to have a bad day, or a bad week. what has made all the difference is coming to realize that those bad feelings are part of life, not life itself.

and it is when i remind myself that i am a simple being, who loves simple things..that the complexities and worries no longer have a hold on me. at the end of the day, we are one of millions to get this chance to live, experience, and see the world before the next. i don't need to feel significant in order to live out my days very significantly. go with love, and kindness, and i hope that you can feel me with you in spirit.
