More Sea Kayaking Adventures from our 14 day August 2022 Shetland trip. Day 9: Aith to Brae, Downwind Run. A strong wind day we opted for the straight run North from Aith, home of the most Northerly Lifeboat Station and the mighty "Charles Lidbury" Severn Class lifeboat.
We watched traditional 'Yoal' boat racing before setting off North to Brae.
Excellent runs providing a good speedy trip in excellent sunshine.
A short trip but very enjoyable day nonetheless.
