ANXIETY RECOVERY: Signs and Milestones on the Road to Complete Anxiety Recovery
Anxiety recovery may seem impossible but it is 100% achievable, I am convinced of it.
After more than 5 years of dealing with severe health anxiety, general anxiety and panic attacks I have fully recovered from all of them.
Back in the days I wasn’t even sure if that was even possible. I mean I was so deep into anxiety and have constantly jumped from one disease to the next that I couldn’t see an end to it.
On my quest to find some anxiety relief I have visited countless doctors and spent thousands on medical tests just to be 100% certain and rule out any other medical condition like a stroke, heart attack, brain tumor and so many more.
But now looking back with the the knowledge I have now, I realize that this constant reassurance seeking is just one gigantic loop. You feel a symptom, you then get it checked out, feel some relief and after a while physical anxiety sensations start to pop up again…. And round and round it goes.
In order to get the ball rolling in anxiety recovery you will need to take a leap of faith at some point. Remind yourself that you have been declared healthy and fit countless times and it is now time to tackle the actualy issue at hand. The Anxiety.
It wont be easy but there will have to come a time at which you will implement and work on positive habits even if you still feel unure, still feel worried. There will never come that time where you wake up and have that full cognitive clarity and believe it is anxiety. It is something you will garner by lowering your general stress levels which then eventually will bring back your more rational brain.
In this video I talk about how I felt during my recovery, what stages I went through and what could be possible signs that you are actually progressing in recovery without even noticing it.
