Last drum cover for 2017: Phil Collins' Something Happened On The Way To Heaven.

Phil is one of my favourite drummers and I just dig his groove. So knowing very well I have none, I thought I would work on that by covering this song from 1988/89. Plus I thought since I am working on that groove, why not bring out the Black Beauty from retirement too, lol (Bow to the Black Beauty!)!

Man, Phil was so behind the beat on this song, it's a wonder how I could even attempt that. But luckily I think I did, haha! Or just got lucky.

Straight forward song with a nice groove by which I also am attempting to keep my left foot going by doing eighth notes throughout. This is to give me a nice pulse to sit on with my groove as I know Phil does this constantly. Besides, it is helping me develop my left foot more for double bass drumming.
