The Osmonds - Crazy Horses Drum Cover
My drum cover of The Osmonds' Crazy Horses.
Now you're probably thinking, The Osmonds? But the song rocks! Nice heavy guitar riff, a ton of drumming and a keyboard sound that mimics a horse neighing.
A Top 20 hit for the band back in 1972, it's the also the title track which btw, is the only hit song sung by their brother who is the drummer, Jay Osmond. Merrill, who is typically the lead singer (along with Donny) is the one doing the high vocal lines of the song whereas Jay handles the lower, grittier parts. Donny has no vocals on this as it is said that his voice was changing during this time due to puberty. But he is the one doing the distinctive keyboard sound throughout the song. If you need reference on who's who when playing the song, here's a mimed live version of them doing Crazy Horses:

Now the song was also ahead of its time in addressing ecological and environmental issues at the time with the lyric line being of note as described by them: "Crazy horses, smoking up the sky” are gas-guzzling cars, destroying the planet with their fumes. We shot the record sleeve in a junkyard, surrounded by big old cars." [Wikipedia]
Well, I hope you enjoyed this cover. I sure as heck did especially since there was a lot of drumming involved and you know how I dig that!
So until next upload cats, take care as always!
