Bad Company - Can't Get Enough Drum Cover

My drum cover of Bad Company's Can't Get Enough.

It's been awhile since I did a classic rock tune that didn't have me working on a groove, and is just a flat out rocker, so that's why I've decided to cover this song.

Always loved this track--the feel, the drive and of course, the drumming. And that is provided by Simon Kirke. A steady mid-tempo tune that is primarily triplet based but man does it cook. Particularly the parts where it is a two handed simultaneous ride on a long triplet pattern. Now I have to admit, I struggle with triplet fills for some reason as they always give me the heebie-jeebies. I don't why. It's just that I think too much on them and they somehow play tricks on mind where I can't execute them as well. And you'll notice that here, where I am doing a triplet fill on the snare but seem to miss the beat of it and wind up hitting a cymbal with my left hand. Oh well, I think I got away with it and it's technically still in time but I cringe and struggle with it. Like how a baseball player can't seem to throw to a base anymore, you know?

Anyway, a great track that was fun to cover. I can see why it was the opening song to their self-titled debut album in 1974--what an introduction as to who this band was! A cool tidbit, this album was the first album released on Led Zeppelin's new record label at the time, Swan Song.

Ok, I hope you dig this track. Such a great rocker, with cool riffs from Mick Ralphs, the bottom bass sound of Boz Burrell and or course the shredding vocals of Paul Rodgers.
