Hagia Sophia Restoration Begins After 70 Years — A New Chapter in Türkiye's History!

Turkey began the restoration of the ancient domes of Hagia Sophia Mosque, after reopening for prayers following a 70-year hiatus. The church by origin, Hagia Sophia, was converted to a mosque by the Ottomans and thereafter a museum under the secularist regime. In 2020, it was once again made into a mosque. Restoration work concentrates on safeguarding its original structure, yet with prayers continued without disruption daily
