Iraq Resumes Oil Exports via Turkey’s Ceyhan Port | Major Boost to Regional Economy
Iraq has officially announced the resumption of crude oil exports through Turkey’s Ceyhan Port after technical agreements and coordination with the Kurdistan Regional Government. Iraqi Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani confirmed that 130,000 barrels per day are being produced, of which 80,000 will now be exported. This step is expected to help reduce the budget deficit and stabilize the economy.
