Why Every Runner Needs To Squat Part 1

Every runner who cares about their health, performance, and longevity should squat.

It doesn't have to be "heavy", it doesn't have to be "a lot" - it doesn't even have to be in a gym - but adding them in will help to restore and preserve much needed range of motion, teach you how to move with a stable spine, and how to sequence correctly so that your muscles are firing properly.

That's right -it's time to say goodbye to "quad dominance".

In this part 1 video, Coach Nate goes through the finer details of squatting for good run mechanics and a long run career. In Part 2, he'll progress to working with a barbell, kettle bell, and on one leg.
