Mulled wine is very popular in the cold months of Northern Italy, a perfect soul-warming beverage to heat up cold hands. Giada emulated those spices in this flavored Chianti, so while it evokes flavors of the holidays, it’s perfect year-round with a generous scoop of gelato. As it’s not too heavy and doesn’t require much cooking, this is a perfect dessert for company, especially after a big, rich meal.
