Spiced Candied Prosciutto | Giada De Laurentiis

If you've had candied bacon before, you know how addictive the combination of salty, sweet, and umami can be. This party season, why not try an Italian twist on that decadent treat to take your cheese platter to the next level? Candied prosciutto is a deceptively simple, super impressive snack that is the perfect compliment to a block of good Parmigiano Reggiano and some herbed green olives or toasted mixed nuts. Easiest cheese platter ever!

To make, spread the prosciutto out in a thin layer on a baking sheet, then spritz with a few pumps of PAM Spray Pump Olive Oil, a simple way to make sure the prosciutto is evenly coated with just the right amount of oil (too much and your guests won't be able to pick it up!). Sprinkle sugar and spice over top, then bake 'til it's caramelized and crispy. It'll be the hit of the party.
