Container Ships Piling up in Chinese Ports - (It's Worse Than we Thought!)

We've made several videos about shipping containers and container ships piling up in the Port of Los Angeles, Ports of Long Beach, different Chinese ports. We've talked about San Francisco Bay, Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma, as well as the Yantian International Container Terminal, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Ningbo, Zhoushan, and Meidong.

Not too long ago there were over 350 large container ships anchored around the world waiting for ports. Well now we have around a hundred in San Pedro Bay alone as we discussed in yesterday's video, as well as over 150 in Shanghai and Ningbo and over 250 container ships anchored around China just sitting around waiting for berths.

Why do I keep talking about all these container ships piling up all over the world? It's actually really simply. This is a huge issue for trucking in the United States and as we have extremely congested shipping ports in America as well as issues with warehousing, trucking, rail, and other aspects of supply chain and distribution, it only make sense to keep coming back to this.

Right now Chinese ports are pulling back on the number of ships they're sending to America. It could be for a number of reasons but what matters to us is that the wave of additional shipments which will come in will overwhelm American shipping ports.

We may see a decline in freight rates followed by an influx of freight which will once again spike the rates. It's very important to keep running this freight and not let up. If you're able to acquire more equipment and truck drivers during this truck and trailer and truck driver shortage, the better it will work out for you.

This is a very rare opportunity for trucking companies in America to expand their fleets and make a whole lot of money. We generally grow during the toughest times. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, so this is why it's so important to push yourself to find the semi trucks, the semi trailers, the truck drivers, and do everything you can to take advantage of these crazy high spot market freight fluctuations.
