Huge DOT Announcement of $1 Billion Grant + Top Paying Loads in Trucking

The Transportation Secretary for the DOT (Elaine Chao) has just made a huge announcement about a $1 Billion dollar grant to help support 70 infrastructure projects in 44 states.

The program is called "BUILD" which stands for Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development and will help fund road, bridge, transit, rail, port, and intermodal projects. The "BUILD" program will replace the old "TIGER" program which stood for Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery Program.

Since 2017, $4 Billion dollars has already been distributed through the "BUILD" program in helping rebuild America's crumbling infrastructure.

Projects under the "BUILD" program are selected based on several factors including safety, economic competitiveness, environmental sustainability, innovation, and partnerships with different industry representatives.

No individual grant was more than $25M dollars and no state was awarded more than $100M dollars. In addition to this, 50% of the entire funding will be devoted to projects in rural communities.

In the second portion of this video, we look at the loads we've successfully booked for our customers consisting of leased on owner operators and carriers operating under their own MC authorities while running under our truck dispatch services.

In this segment we'll look at owner operator team driver pay, the trucking spot market, owner operator pay in general, as well as spot market freight because the semi truck freight is insane at the moment and has been for some time now.
