The markets have been booming and we're all very grateful for it but the coming covid lockdown usa is going to be much more brutal than the last. The effects of this upcoming Covid lockdown will be felt by every trucker in the USA.

Humans are the dominant species on planet earth. The reason is that we have a cerebral cortex unlike other animals on the planet. The cerebral cortex gives us the ability for abstract thought. It gives us the ability to conceptualize, predict, and plan for the future.

This coming covid lockdown usa will require us to use these skills and abilities because we'll have to be forward thinking to learn from the past covid lockdown usa scenario how it affected the trucking industry. We have to remind ourselves what was happening just a few months ago.

We had extremely low freight rates, very low tonnage, almost no freight to haul, and a large number of bankruptcies. Let's not forget that 88,000 truck driving jobs were lost in the month of March alone and you're one of the lucky few who was able to survive through this difficult time and make it out in one piece. Trucking businesses are no exception and I'm truly hoping that people have learned from the past.

Up to now we haven't had a national lockdown but the effects of the state-wide lockdowns were felt strongly throughout the trucking industry. What we're asking of truckers is to not wait for the markets to improve when the freight rates finally go down. Please learn from the previous mistakes and past history. You don't want to find yourself sitting at truck stops for weeks and weeks waiting for rates to increase.
