Dave Cox lost his beloved dog Cort in 2017. He didn't think he was ready for a puppy but he missed the companionship of a pet. That's when he met a three-day-old chicken and decided to adopt her. The pair are almost inseparable. When Dave is not working as a contractor he and Sammi are on the road from their home in Destin, Florida. They travel the country and spread joy wherever they go.
