Trafalgar Square Christmas Tree
Since 1947, the city of Oslo, Norway has sent the people of London a Christmas Tree in thanks for their support during World War II. The tree stands in Trafalgar Square and represents friendship and the shared suffering both countries endured during the war. The 2019 tree was perhaps not the most beautiful Christmas Tree in the world but it reflected the true meaning of the holiday in a special way.
