Changing of the Guard - An Alternate View

The Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace is a top tourist attraction in London but it can be crowded and time consuming. The ceremony begins at eleven, but you need to be there an hour early to get one of the best viewing locations. There is an alternate. You can go to the nearby Wellington Barracks and watch the guards and band marching in and out. You can also visit the Guard Toy Soldier store and the Guard Museum and Chapel.
