Quick relief for tight hip flexors #partnerstretch #mobility #wod

Anyone who spends most of their day sitting has tight hip flexors which leads to all kinds of problems, including back pain, hunched-over posture, and overall hindering of athletic movement.

These partner stretches are demonstrated quickly, but using extended contract-relax sequences (i.e. resist your partners weight by holding an isometric contraction for anywhere from 5-30 sec, and then exhale and relax into a deeper range of motion) will build strength and also result in longer-lasting flexibility gains in my experience.
