Money Saving Dawn Powerwash Refill Life Hack #Shorts

The cost of 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥 is getting a little out of control on average the Dawn Spray Dish Soap, Fresh Scent, 16 Fluid Ounce, 1 Starter-Kit, and 1 Refill cost about $9.00, and some kits like the Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray, Dish Soap, Fresh Scent Bundle, 1 Spray (16oz) + 3 Refills (16oz each) as much as $18.00. So, is there something unique about the " 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡"? I am sure there is. After all, the viscosity is much lighter than regular dishwashing detergent, and it is clear. I have read in some forums that the difference between ordinary Dawn and 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡 is that the spray bottle kind has rubbing alcohol. The addition of alcohol is supposed to help remove more stains. It also sprays in foam, so it's easy to dispense and small amounts, and I think that is the trick. In fact, I believe that what makes this product work is its atomizing spray dispenser. By spraying the dishwashing detergent, you add oxygen and activate its cleaning power.

Undoubtedly, DAWN has always been a top-of-the-line product that I have used over the years. And even when I buy another brand because it was on sale or there is a buy one get one free option, I always return to DAWN. As they say, if it is not broken, don't fix it! And while naysayers and flat-earthers out there question whether 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 or not. I think that there are bigger things to worry. Dawn dish soap, like all others, is toxic. Some synthetic ingredients in it are harmful.

A good example is methylisothiazolinone which can cause aquatic toxicity, and some small studies have linked it to nerve and liver damage. But, as with all dishwashing detergents, this stuff was not meant for you to drink, but apparently, some people do. If you do, please don't blame Dawn Dish Spray Platinum Powerwash since the moron in the room is not it!

With that said, and according to the packaging, the stuff cuts through grease five times faster than other dish soaps. I am not sure about that and I think they gave the marketing department too much room for creativity on that one!

The claim is that if you spray the foam onto a dish or into a sink full of dishes, you either rinse right away with water or let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe and rinse, depending on how bad the mess is! If you ever use not only this but any dishwashing detergent, you know that is NOT true, but when compared to other brands, I think that DAWN ranks at the top with many consumers.

𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤

When you learn 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡, you'll be shocked that it only has two ingredients! It's just blue Dawn dish soap and water! Some Dawn Powerwash Refill recipes call for rubbing alcohol. I don't think this is necessary or desirable because the alcohol accelerates evaporation. Let's say you have a messy skillet and want to soak it a bit before getting into it. If you use alcohol by the time you come around to check on it, the soap will have evaporated, and you have to do it all over again!

IMO - the best recipe for a DIY 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥 is just water and Dawn Ultra blue dishwashing liquid detergent. Fill the bottle with water up to the top of the circle on the sticker, and the rest with Dawn Ultra to the peak at the top of the label. After trying different ratios, I think this is so far the best. Hey, thank you for stopping by. I hope you try this 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤 soon. And please leave me a comment and let me know how it worked out for you.
