Mischievous Elephant Bull, Mambo’s 12 Year Journey 🐘

We would like to wish marvelous Mambo a most wonderful 12th birthday today!

Born 29 August 2009, Mambo has grown into a fascinating and handsome bull who enjoys being close to his herd when playing or challenging individual members. He's also happy grazing off quietly alone but seems to never be too far from watchful mother, Lundi or best friend, Zindoga (Bubi's son).

Today we celebrate Mambo with a new video looking at his journey through a few snapshot moments that show his personality and bonds within the herd! He is so much more than just mischievous... he is bold, confident, protective, brave, curious, independent and showing all the attributes that may make him a fine dominant bull one day.

Thank you to Mambo's foster parents and supporters who have helped us to care for, sustain and protect him and his herd over the years.
