Baby Elephant, Khanyisa is Greeted with a Trumpet and Trunk-Sniffs by Lundi & Tokwe

A new morning at the orphanage and elephant homestead! Watch the herd heading out from the homestead into the reserve to start their day. Khanyisa joins them with a big welcome from adoptive mother, Lundi and matriarch, Tokwe! The two females give her a good trunk-smelling, with Tokwe sussing out Khanyisa's blanket and then it's time to head off as the sun rises...

Enjoy some time with several members of this great blended elephant family, with Timisa and Khanyisa spending special time together, and all of Khanyisa's allomothers taking turns to keep her company - including Bubi, Limpopo, Tokwe and Kumbura!

Fishan's leg has healed well and he is navigating his wilderness and the slopes and dips well! He spends a lot of time with Bubi still, who in turn likes to be with her son Zindoga too. Both Bubi and Lundi are great mothers to their sons in the herd and continue to stay close to them whenever they can, even as the bulls grow older and more independent.
