We put a few clips together of one of her recent walks on a wintery morning with her new family. Kumbura, an orphaned elephant herself, is so protective over her, and always keeps by her side - it is so endearing to watch!
The green colour you may occasionally see on Khanyisa's body is an antibiotic wound spray called Cyclospray, which we apply when she gets any scratches or cuts.
