EOS Fitness Review: Is This Gym Worth It?

If you’re looking for an all inclusive fitness club and you live in Southern California, Nevada, Utah, or Florida then you need to check out EOS Fitness.

The price tag may bring to mind stripped-down budget gyms like Planet Fitness, but you might be surprised. Each EOS club has tons of great amenities like pools, childcare, group classes, and more.

But is EOS Fitness actually worth the price? Here’s everything you need to know before you sign up.

(INDEPENDENT REVIEW)

How much does EOS Fitness cost?

EOS Fitness offers three membership options depending on what level of access you need.

The cost to join will be between nine ninety-nine and twenty four ninety-nine per month at most locations, plus annual and start up fees. That makes this gym an affordable pick for almost anyone.

The Basic or Gray membership, the cheapest of the options, gives you standard access at your home club — but it doesn’t include certain amenities like group fitness classes.

Upgrade to the Platinum option, sometimes called the Blue membership, for unlimited access to group and aqua fitness classes, plus the ability to hop around to different locations.

Platinum Plus, or the Black Membership, the most expensive plan, allows you to bring a guest every time you come to the gym.

Most EOS Fitness locations offer a free 7-day trial so you can get a taste of the gym amenities before signing up.

EOS Fitness Equipment, Features & Amenities

Coming in at around ten to twenty dollars per month, a membership here might seem too good to be true.

Let’s look at what your monthly membership dues actually get you.

---
Equipment

Each EOS Fitness center provides a full range of strength training equipment, with free weights, power racks, and dumbbells going up to around 150 pounds.

You’ll also find both cable plated loaded and hydraulic resistance activated machines for strength training.

The cardio rooms are literally packed with aerobic fitness choices with everything from treadmills with individual TVs, to ellipticals, stair climbers, rowers, cross trainers and bikes.

Every EOS center also provides a functional training area that’s covered in turf and features training options like sled pushing, battle ropes and all manner of plyometric equipment.

You won’t find many gyms in this price range with a better selection!

---
Group Fitness Classes

EOS excels when it comes to group fitness classes.

Each club offers more than 60 classes per week, spaced out to accommodate every schedule.
Whether you’re into strength, cardio, stretching, or yoga, you’ll definitely find something on the schedule that suits your taste.

Just make sure your membership includes access to the group classes or you’ll be out of luck.

---
Pool & Spa

Each EOS Fitness gym features an indoor pool. They’re great for low-impact exercise, whether you’re swimming laps or taking part in an aquatic group fitness class.

There are also sauna and steam room facilities at all clubs. You can even relax in a hot tub after your workout to speed up your post workout recovery and then enjoy a hydromassage!

---
Childcare

EOS operates a Kid’s Club which is open to children from 6 months to 12 years of age.
Kids Club Fun Houses are full of stuff your kids will love, including games, activities, jungle gyms, mini basketball courts and even movie theaters.

The only problem is that your kids won’t want to go home when your workout is over!
You can expect to pay around fifteen dollars per month for each child you enroll in the Kid’s Club.

---
Other Amenities

EOS provides some pretty unique – and extremely cool – amenities that you won’t find in your run of the mill gym franchise.

These include the Flite Zone, a 20 minute full body circuit designed to target all major muscle groups — and BlackBox VR, which integrates fitness with immersive technology for an incredible virtual reality workout.

EOS also offers small group training led by elite personal training coaches.
You may have to pay extra for some of these premium amenities depending on your membership level and location.

---

EOS Fitness is a gym that impresses with its range of facilities and training options.

Most gyms in this price range simply can’t compete with the range of equipment, innovative training options, Kids Club, and pool facilities you’ll find at EOS.

There are honestly very few drawbacks to becoming a member here — it’s just too bad that EOS is currently a regional gym and people in most of the United States won’t be able to join.

Still, it’s not the right fit for everyone so make sure you take advantage of the free trial before becoming a member.
