In March 2011, british polar explorer Ben Saunders set out on a solo and unsupported attempt to reach the geographical north pole in a record breaking time.

This is the seventh instalment in a series of films documenting the expedition.

Ben is currently planning his next expedition - The Scott Expedition. An 1800 mile, unsupported return journey from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole on foot retracing Captain Scott's footsteps.
