Whiteout! Greenland Training 2012 (Part 3)

In contrast to earlier sunny days, nature's putting Ben Saunders, Martin Hartley and Al Humphries to the test in Greenland as they navigate through a whiteout.

In May 2012, Ben, Martin and Al spent 14 days in Greenland on a training expedition as part of preparation for the Scott Expedition - an 1800 mile, unsupported return journey from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole on foot retracing Captain Scott's footsteps that Ben is currently planning.

Preparation for an expedition as challenging as the Scott Expedition is many years in the planning - Ben didn't depart last year as expected (suggested in this set of videos). His preparation continues in 2013...http://2013.scottexpedition.com/blog/patience.
