Braving the rain in The Cuillins, Skye (Part 2 - Nov 2011)
Monday morning in the 'office' - Ben Saunders, Al Humphries and Martin Hartley brush the rain aside as training for the Scott Expedition continues. Biking and running The Cuillins on Skye.
Skye is an island off the west coast of the Scottish mainland. This film was made in November 2011, and marks the beginning of training and preparation for the Scott Expedition - an 1800 mile, unsupported return journey from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole on foot retracing Captain Scott's footsteps that Ben is currently planning.
Preparation for an expedition as challenging as the Scott Expedition is many years in the planning - Ben didn't depart last year as expected (as suggested in this set of videos). His preparation continues...http://2013.scottexpedition.com/blog/patience.
