Body Connection Exercise: single arm swing 2 - transverse plane
Differentiating flexion-extension of the torso and legs from rotation, and experimenting with different combinations of the two to drive the arm swing in the transverse plane. At various points I was emphasizing the contribution to the whole movement coming from the scapula, the ribcage, the abdomen, pelvis, the backs of the legs, the feet and hip rotators, and a few different spinal segments, sometimes emphasizing the pull into the bottom position, sometimes the push out of it.
