Super Typhoon Goni (#RollyPH) a Category 5 - Live Update

Typhoon Goni has entered the Philippine area of responsibility and has been given the name Rolly by PAGASA. The typhoon has been rapidly intensifying today and is now a category 5 on the Saffir Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, with winds near 190mph (305kph). While Goni (#RollyPH) is nearing its peak intensity now, the storm will likely remain a category 5 super typhoon for the next 2 days and is now forecast to make landfall in the Philippines as a super typhoon.

Major impacts are possible where the storm comes onshore, with Signal #4 warnings expected to be raised.
