The 2019 season featured three Category 5 storms - Wutip, Hagibis and Halong. The deadliest cyclone was Typhoon Lekima, which killed 108. At $9.6 billion, Hagibis was one of three multi-billion dollar storm impacts of the year. The most destructive storm was Typhoon Kammuri, damaging or destroying 532,041 structures, the highest in the basin since Haiyan.
