Typhoon Goni (#RollyPH) Intensifying - Live Update

Typhoon Goni is entering the Philippine area of responsibility this evening, and will be assigned the name Rolly by PAGASA. The storm is intensifying substantially and is already a Category 1 on the Saffir Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, with winds near 80mph (120kph).
The storm is expected to pile into southern Luzon this weekend, and could be a major typhoon, with chances of rapid intensification increased by this storm's small size.
