Melbourne lockdown has left behind 'a very damaged economy'
Broadcaster Michael McLaren says the lockdown in Melbourne left “a very damaged economy”, and a damaged economy “leaves behind damaged people”.
The lockdown in Melbourne was costing Australia $200 million a day, Mr Jones said.
Sky News host Alan Jones said, “why is any of this stuff locked down, do these politicians think they’re going to eliminate the virus? You’re not going to eliminate the virus.”
Mr McLaren said some of the politicians probably suspect they can eliminate the virus, “they can do incredible things, they probably suspect they can”.
