RECORD OF RAGNAROK Season 2 Netflix Release – 2023. New Poster & New Characters Revealed

Hey, guys! We have great news for the fans as Record of Ragnarok Season 2 has been finally announced by Netflix. The renewal of the adventure anime series comes one year since the 12-episode first season was released on Netflix last June. The production company Warner Bros. Japan also unveiled the new poster for the second season. Netflix confirmed that Season 2 of Record of Ragnarok will premiere on the streaming platform in 2023. More details of the new season, new characters and storylines will be revealed during the Anime Expo 2022, which will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 1 through 4. As you probably know, the Record of Ragnarok anime series is based on the same-name manga series by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, titled Shūmatsu no Walkure, which to date has 14 volumes, with the latest having been released in March 2022. This means that Warner Bros. Japan still has plenty of material to continue Record of Ragnarok for many seasons to come. The IMDb viewer approval rating for Season 1 was somewhat disappointing, just 6.2 out of 10. Fans criticized the anime series for lacking the excitement and tension the original manga has, for not having enough action scenes and for the subpar animation.
