New 2024 Honda WR-V (Elevate) - Wonderful Japanese SUV

Honda pre -released the new SUV `` WR-V '' scheduled to be released in the Japanese market in the spring of 2024 on its website. The Elevate, which made its world debut in India in June, will be introduced to the Japanese market under the model name WR-V, and all vehicles will be supplied from India. Prices are expected to start from 2 million yen range.

Honda's SUV lineup in the Japanese market consists of only two models: the ZR-V and the Vezel. Although the SUV market is still on the rise, sales of small SUVs such as the Toyota Yaris Cross and Daihatsu Rocky are increasing significantly. However, Honda decided to introduce the WR-V in Japan because there was no lineup in the same price range.

The body size of the WR-V is 4325mm in length, 1790mm in width, 1650mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2650mm. Compared to the Vezel, the overall length and width are almost the same, the overall height is 70mm higher, and the wheelbase is 40mm longer.

The Honda WR-V has an impressive appearance and commanding presence. The design resembles a traditional boxy SUV. The WR-V features a prominent grille with dual fog lights underneath and thin LED headlights on either side. A large Honda logo sits in the center of the WR-V's flat nose. Like other Honda cars, the headlights and LED daytime running lights are connected by a thick chrome bar. The WR-V also features 17-inch aluminum wheels. The rear of the car has combination lights connected by a thick red bar, similar to the front.

The minimum ground clearance is 195mm, and it has the ability to run on unpaved roads as well as bumps in urban areas.

The dual-tone dashboard is tastefully designed to give the interior a luxurious feel. The upholstery appears to be made of synthetic leather. The Honda WR-V comes with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless smartphone connectivity. The instrument cluster is also equipped with a 7-inch TFT color display. Additional 458 liters of trunk space

Powertrain details have not been released, but only 1.5L gasoline models are available for all grades. The WR-V does not have the hybrid specification "e:HEV" that is used for the vezel and other parts, and the drive system is only 2WD

The new WR-V has a simple configuration with only three grades: "X", "Z" and "Z+"
