Dealership Charging for Electric Vehicles: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

What can you expect from EV charging at dealerships? It's a mixed bag for sure, but there are some diamonds in the rough that can help in a pinch on EV road trips, or tie over new owners awaiting installation of home charging equipment.

This video takes a quick look at what we've experienced charging our 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV at dealerships over the last few years, both locally and on long trips. It also touches on trends we're seeing around the Northeast, such as Nissan dealers adding CCS-equipped charge stations and even Harley Davidson getting in on the act, thanks to the impending arrival of its Livewire electric bike.
