Rainbow Parrot Fish (Scarus guacamaia) browsing Looe Key reef

The audio is awful, the video is shaky, but this Rainbow Parrot Fish (Scarus guacamaia) was so spectacular that I couldn't resist posting the slow motion, highly cropped video anyway. The waves were billowing, the boat rocked to and fro and I felt sure that only moments after entering the water with my snorkel I would be drowned or dashed to death on the heavily manicured finger reefs surrounding Looe Key near the Southern tip of the U.S.
