Six Rayed Star (Leptasterias hexactis) and Dwarf Henricia (Henricia pumilla)
In the shadow of the immense geological platform known as Pillar Point, thrive tiny tidepools containing an abundance of fairly diminutive sea creatures. Both the six rayed star (Leptasterias hexactis) and dwarf henricia (Henricia pumilla) are relatively small in their adult state. Neither of the sea stars featured in this video are as large as a quarter in diameter.
