Pineapple Pie With Cookie Crust

This pie was inspired by the lady who suggested using Lorna Doone cookies as a crust for Jello pies. It turn out really well.

Here's the recipe for the crust:
72 Lorne Doone cookies (purchased at Dollar General)
5 tablespoons butter
Mix in food processor until fine crumb then add melted butter.
Press into pie pan and bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Cool completely before adding filling

Filling:
1 - 3 ounce pack Island Pineapple Jello
1/2 cup boiling water
1- 8 ounce pack of cream cheese
3/4 cup ice and water
1 - 8 ounce can crushed pineapple including juice
Dissolve Jello in 1/2 cup boiling water, add to blender with cream cheese blend until completely mixed, add pineapple and stir.
Pour into completely cooled pie crust.
For quick set put in freezer for about 30 minutes then transfer to refrigerator until complete set.
To help remove pie pieces from pan set pie in very hot sink water about an inch deep, leave for 30 sections, this should cause the pie pieces to come out of the pan more easily.
