16 min Gentle Cardio & Strengthening Exercises for Seniors // Get stronger and remain independent

Today's gentle workout is 16 minutes long packed with cardio & strengthening exercises to help you become stronger. As a senior, the stronger we are, the longer we will be able to live independently. This is a good for someone who is new to exercise or returning to exercise after an illness or injury. This is the final day of the 5 day gentle standing program. You don't need any equipment today other than a chair for stretching at the end. As I often say, just commit to 5 minutes and hopefully after the 5 minutes, you'll become energized and will want to do more. This is also a great workout for taking a short break in the day to get in some more exercise, or for days when you don't feel you can do more. This workout is for all ages and sizes and with consistency, you will benefit with improved health.
