How to Start Calisthenics - Calisthenics Skills guide On what to Learn First. This video gives you IN MY OPINION a guide on how to start of working on different body weight skills. I’ve categorized various skills into 3 different pots. Novice, Intermediate and Advanced. Master each skill in every pot before moving onto the next pot. A 6 second hold of a skill or 3 clean reps of a skill means you have mastered that movement. 5 years ago I tried to do all the planches and levers straight away. This lead to injury. By following this guide you should be able to progress safely with calisthenics. I wish you good luck on your journey.
