On board a Mets-Willets Point bound R188 7 train from 34 Street-Hudson Yards to Mets-Willets Point
Seen here is a ride on a 7 train operated by R188s bound for Mets-Willets Point.
In honor of making 700 subscribers, I decided to take a ride on the Rush Hour trip on the number 7 to Mets-Willets Point, making all stops to Mets-Willets Point.
During PM rush hour, some 7 trains would terminate at Mets-Willets Point, and would be sent to the yard from there. Other times, it would terminate at 111 Street, where it would just go straight to the yard from the station. Customers who need Flushing-Main Street would have to wait on the platform for the next 7 train going to Flushing.
In the end of the video, I later caught sets 7501-7510 with the LED signs back, getting off at Court Square as it goes straight to Manhattan.
Please Note: subway service is fully 24/7 again, but doesn’t mean you should take off your mask when riding public transportation. Always wear a mask when riding the subway or buses, be at least 6 feet from others around you, and in case you need to adjust your mask, wear gloves when adjusting. Enjoy!
