On board a Harlem-148 Street bound R62 2 train from Brooklyn College to Harlem-148 Street
Seen here is a ride on a 2 train, operated by R62s, bound for Harlem-148 Street.
Due to track maintenance, 2 train service was split in two sections:
1. Wakefield-241st Street to/from 3rd Avenue-149 Street.
2. Brooklyn College-Flatbush Avenue to/from Harlem-148 Street.
3 train service was suspended, of which some R62s went on the 2 line for extra shortage of hand since most of the R142s were in the Bronx.
Also, 2 train service ran local from 72nd Street to 96 Street, which only effected a small part of Manhattan on the express track.
I know I have done R62s on the 2 couple of times, however this time, I got it perfectly straight with the ride. In the end, it did stay in service, however I got off at Times Square-42nd Street to see it leave off, heading back to Brooklyn from there.
