On board a 96 Street-2nd Ave. bound R46 Q train from Coney Island to 96 Street-2nd Avenue
Seen here is a ride on a Q train running via Sea Beach/4th Avenue express, operated by R46s, bound for 96 Street-2nd Avenue.
During PM rush hour, select Q trains leave from Coney Island, heading northbound via the N line, up towards 96 Street. This one came in as a N, but left as a Q going uptown. I was able to do a full ride this time, not compared to when I had to get out too soon because I had to meet up with someone, this time I stayed around and rode it all the way to 96 Street.
Compare to the few videos I did with the Q, this time I did it with an R46 going uptown with the rollsign showing it at a diamond Q during the rush hour, because I think that most train operators were prefer it like that since it’s rush hour, but at least I got what I need for my trip.
Please Note: subway service is fully 24/7 again, but doesn’t mean you should take off your mask when riding public transportation. Always wear a mask when riding the subway or buses, even if you are vaccinated, be at least 6 feet from others around you, and in case you need to adjust your mask, wear gloves when adjusting. Enjoy!
