A lion can be seen sneaking up on an unsuspecting wildebeest in this video, but when it jumps on the animal, it gets a little more resistance than expected. This lioness is watching the herd run right by her, as she waits for the perfect moment to tackle one of the wildebeests, and when she goes for the kill, she hangs on to one wildebeest by the neck to make the kill.

They decide to go on a feeding frenzy, and they always use the same approach. A lioness can be seen running towards some wildebeest and zebras and among all the chaos, she comes out of there with a small catch, a wildebeest calf, easily killed by the feline. When two wildebeests desperately try to get out of a mud hole, one of them is too slow and is welcomed by a hungry lioness.

The wildebeest charges into the feline, but it’s not enough to prevent the big cat from latching on to the animal’s neck to choke it.
