Otter VS Caiman And Crocodile

Two otters oversee protecting and training six pups in this video. When a hungry caiman approaches the family, the otter father has a lot on his plate. The two otters move quickly to encircle the caiman and strike first before the caiman can do any harm. The pups worry and unintentionally follow their parents into the conflict, which is bad. The parents must now combat the caiman, while simultaneously concerned about the safety of their puppies.

The adult otters reinforce their attack and keep the caiman from leaving, but the damage has already been done, and while the caiman died at the hands of the otters, two of the pups were slain in the process. The enormous crocodiles in this video don't seem to bother the otters at all. They will assault and attack no matter how massive their opponent is. When confronted by larger predators such as crocodiles, otters are known to join and collaborate, as seen in these short snippets.

These otters are looking for a caiman and will dive underwater to get a better look before disappearing into the bushes. They appear to have killed something, but it's difficult to identify what it is or what happened. The otters in this video are the aggressors, and the caiman agrees, retreating into the marshes when the otters get too close for comfort. It’s amazing to see these animals interact with their environment, and never back down from a challenge, especially when it threatens their survival.

Otter Hunting Snake

The otter in this video is attacked by a nasty and dangerous anaconda, but the otter uses his extraordinary reflexes, a feature that otters possess and employ when they are in dangerous waters and regularly confronted by predators such as this massive snake. At first, it looked like the otter wanted to kiss the large snake, but when he felt the snake was more interested in eating him, he retreated into the water.

These otters look like they are having a good time with this snake. The snake escapes the otter's grasp, but it is quickly scooped back up by the otter. This appears to be a park activity rather than a fight. In this video, a group of Asian small-clawed otters kills a nonvenomous snake. When their mother was inadvertently slain by villagers, these otters were saved. They are being prepared for life in the wild.

Asian small-clawed otters mate for life, with litters of pups nurturing the next generation. They can be found in mangroves, marshes, estuaries, rivers, and rice paddies. They are threatened by habitat degradation, bushmeat and fur hunting, and the illegal wildlife trade. While two snakes compete for a little fish, an otter discovers and devours a delectable eel. Even if we don't see it all, there is a lot going on in the sea.
