Lions don't usually attack giraffes because they're too big to be easy prey. But in South Africa's Selous Game Reserve, lions have mysteriously begun hunting colossal, adult giraffes, and they have been successful at times. Look at this giraffe's strength as she knocks over and tramples this lioness trying to ambush it. Even a pride of lions, as shown in this video, will struggle to take down a giraffe when the lions are kicked in the face more frequently than any other animal. With a single strike, a giraffe can instantly kill a lion. Look at this giraffe's strength as she knocks over and tramples a lioness trying to ambush it. This Giraffe is surrounded by at least 15 lions. The lions grab the giraffe's legs, but she keeps walking, and dragging the lions behind her. One of the male lions has grabbed onto the giraffe and is clinging to its tail. The giraffe's weight is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain. If the giraffe collapses, the game is over. It almost looks like a castle siege with the male lion attempting to scale the tower walls.

The male lion releases the giraffe's tail for a few seconds to catch his breath before resuming his grip. More lions seize the giraffe's front legs, but it swings up and down to free itself. When the giraffe falls to the ground, the game is over. The giraffe put up a valiant fight, but there were simply too many lions. A pride of six lions surrounds a reticulated giraffe and her calf. The mother desperately tries to fight off the lions. For a while, she manages to keep them at a safe distance, until one lioness goes behind her back and out of her sight. The lioness pounces on the giraffe's mother’s back and claws her way up toward her neck. The shock causes the mother giraffe to run to try and shake the lioness off. As the mother runs, the baby giraffe is left unattended and becomes easy prey for one of the lions as the other lions join the chase for the mother giraffe. Free from their mother's care, five young lions must fend for, and feed themselves. Their first challenge: a giant giraffe who refuses to be caught.

Elephant VS Rhino

This elephant casually pretends to be out for a walk in the bush, but it slams into the rhino's backside, almost knocking it out. The rhino responds by swiping back. The elephant continues to slam into the rhino and if it topples the rhino, he may kneel on her, crushing ribs and vital organs. Because of the rhino's body shape, it has a lower center of gravity and good balance, making it difficult for the elephant to roll her over. The rhino is faster and manages to flee. In the middle of the night, an elephant confronts a rhino and doesn't let the rhino getaway. The rhino has no desire to engage with the elephant and will go out of its way to avoid it. Rhinos are fearsome beasts that, except for elephants, can compete against any other animal in the world. They have no chance of winning a fight against an adult male elephant, and you can see for yourself in this video when the elephant plows the rhino into the ground before the horned animal escapes. Elephants introduced to the Pilansberg reserve in 1979 were almost always culling orphans.

The younger bulls were behaving terribly, intimidating females, and attempting to force them to mate since they lacked larger role models to show them the ropes. As a result of their actions, the juvenile elephants became violent and attacked rhinos and multiple tourist vehicles, killing 40 rhinos, and injuring one human. Black rhinos are well known for their short tempers and when these inexperienced lions spot a rhino calf, they think they’ve found an easy meal, but nothing could be further from the truth, because the calf is not alone. Mom is there and she won’t let the big cats get close. But when she charges the felines, a herd of elephants arrives to confront the lions, but they switch their anger towards the rhino because the two species do not get along. Now, the rhino is confronted by three seven-ton monsters instead of a few cute and cuddly “puddy” cats. It’s an epic display of power, between two of Africa’s iconic giants, but it doesn’t come down to blows as the cats watch the real kings of the bush in awe.
